Brian Henninger

Brian Henninger (born October 19, 1962, in Sacramento, California) is an American professional golfer best known for his performances on the PGA Tour during the 1990s. He attended the University of Southern California, where he played collegiate golf, and turned professional in 1987. After several seasons on developmental tours, Henninger emerged as a promising talent in 1992 by winning three events on the Ben Hogan Tour, now the Korn Ferry Tour, which earned him a place on the PGA Tour.

The most successful period of Henninger’s career came in the 1990s. He won two PGA Tour titles: the Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic in 1994 and the Southern Farm Bureau Classic in 1999. His best finish in a major championship was a tie for 10th place at the Masters Tournament in 1995, where he shared the lead after three rounds.

After losing his PGA Tour card in 2002, he competed primarily on the Nationwide Tour before later joining the PGA Tour Champions for golfers aged 50 and over. Throughout his career, Henninger earned more than $3.3 million in prize money on the PGA Tour and remains a respected figure in American golf.
